The Indoor Back-to-Back Glider holds two children, each facing outward so they can see where they are going. Allows clients to work on balance, bilateral coordination and weight shifting. It also encourages teamwork and socialisation. This glider rewards the coordinated effort of the kids by swinging easier and higher, and raising the difficulty when their work is not in sync. Use with two-point attachment.

Why choose a glider?
Many choose a glider over a swing because it better suits their space, whilst also being designed to offer increased stability for clients – often ideal for those who are younger and/or posturally insecure. The glider also encourages socialisation and teamwork, or can allow a therapist to ride with clients and provide hands-on facilitation.
How does a glider encourage children to socially interact?
Allowing multiple clients to use the glider together encourages social interaction. Teamwork will be needed to swing, and having fun on the glider is a great way to build new friendships.
Can a glider swing help with motor skills?
There are lots of creative ways you can use the back-to-back glider to help motor skill development. Swinging can help grip strength, hand-arm coordination, and requires children to engage multiple muscle groups at once. Core muscles can be developed, along with balance.
